Set one price for everything you sell, or add a cheaper price\nfor people who buy more — Point of Sale switches to it on its own once\nsomeone buys enough. Configurations, price tiers and inventory tracking all\ncome at no extra cost.\n\n!!! note \"Works the same on the website\"\n Click **Products** in the dashboard menu to do this from a browser\n instead.\n\nFrom here you can:\n\n- Set a price\n- Give a discount for buying more\n- Charge the discounted price in Point of Sale\n\n## Set a price\n\n1. Open **Products**, then tap the product you want to price — or\n [create one](https://articles.marketspread.com/v1/articles/creating-products#add-a-product).\n2. On the **Inventory & Price** tab, fill in **Price**.\n\n ![The Inventory & Price tab, with Price filled in](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/01-set-a-price.png)\n\n3. Tap **Save**.\n\n## Give a discount for buying more\n\nSell the same product cheaper when someone buys a bigger amount — six apples\nfor $4.50 instead of $1.00 each.\n\n1. Open **Products**, then tap the product again.\n\n ![Products, with Honeycrisp Apples ready to open for pricing](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/02-products-list.png)\n\n2. Tap **Add price tier**.\n\n ![The Add price tier button, below the product's price](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/03-add-price-tier-button.png)\n\n3. The first time, a confirmation appears. Tap **Add Price Tier**.\n\n ![The confirmation that appears the first time, with Add Price Tier to confirm](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/04-add-price-tier-confirm.png)\n\n4. Fill in the new tier's **Price** and **Included units** — how many have to\n be bought to get that price.\n\n ![Both price tiers, each cheaper per unit than the last](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/05-price-tiers.png)\n\n5. Tap **Save**.\n\n!!! important \"Each tier has to be cheaper than the last\"\n A bigger tier has to cost less per unit than a smaller one — check\n **Price per-unit** on each tier to compare them. Marketspread checks this\n when you save, and blocks it until it's fixed.\n\nTo remove a price tier, tap the trash can next to it, then confirm by\ntapping **Delete**.\n\n![The trash can next to the discount tier, to remove it](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/06-remove-price-tier-button.png)\n\n![The confirmation, with Delete to remove the tier](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/07-remove-price-tier-confirm.png)\n\n## Charge the discounted price in Point of Sale\n\nAdding a product to the cart always starts it at its regular price — the one\ncharged for a single unit. To charge a cheaper price instead, change the\nquantity once it's in the cart.\n\n1. Tap **Add product**, then tap the product. It's added to your cart at its\n regular price.\n\n ![Add product, with Honeycrisp Apples to tap](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/08-select-product.png)\n\n ![The cart, with Honeycrisp Apples added at its regular price](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/09-cart-with-item.png)\n\n2. Tap the item in the cart.\n\n ![The cart item, with the + button next to Qty](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/10-item-editor.png)\n\n3. Next to **Qty**, tap **+** until the quantity reaches what the cheaper\n price needs. **Price (per item)** updates to match.\n\n ![Qty at 6, with Price (per item) updated to the discounted rate](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/product-pricing/11-qty-increased.png)\n\n4.
