For example, a summer surcharge that drops back down for the rest of the year.\n\nIt only works on a fee priced by the day, week or month. It doesn't work on a fee priced for the whole event, or on your base per-booth price.\n\n## Turn on peak pricing\n\nPeak pricing is off until you turn it on for your market.\n\n1. Open **Settings**, then **Advanced**.\n2. Next to **Enable peak rate pricing**, click the pencil edit icon.\n\n   ![Advanced Settings, with the pencil to edit Enable peak rate pricing](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/peak-pricing/01-advanced-settings.png)\n\n3. Turn on the switch.\n4. Click **Save**.\n\n   ![Enable peak rate pricing switched on, ready to save](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/peak-pricing/02-enable-peak-pricing.png)\n\n## Add a peak price to a fee\n\nThis adds a peak price to a **Vendor Type**, **Vendor Tag** or **Category** fee you've already set up. If you haven't created one yet, see [Tag Based Vendor Fees](https://articles.marketspread.com/v1/articles/tag-based-vendor-fees).\n\n1. Open **Event Configuration**, then **Events**.\n2. Click the event you want to price.\n3. Click the **Other Fees** tab. If it offers more than one term, choose **Day**, **Week** or **Month** — peak pricing doesn't show up under **Event**.\n4. Click the pencil edit icon.\n5. Find the fee under **Vendor Type Fees**, **Vendor Tag Fees** or **Category Fees**.\n6. Under **Peak price adjustments**, click **Add price adjustment**.\n\n   ![The Organic Vendor Tag fee, with Add price adjustment for its peak window](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/peak-pricing/03-add-price-adjustment.png)\n\n7. Set the start and end of the peak window.\n8. Enter the **Peak price**.\n9. Click **Save other fees**.\n\n!!! important \"The peak price replaces the normal price\"\n    Enter the full price for that window, not just the increase. A $50 fee that should go up to $65 in summer gets a **Peak price** of $65, not $15.\n\nYou can add more than one peak price adjustment to the same fee. Add a spring bump, say, and a bigger summer one.\n\n![The Organic fee, with its summer peak price adjustment](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/peak-pricing/04-peak-price-saved.png)\n\n## Remove a peak price\n\n1. Open the event's **Other Fees** tab and click the pencil edit icon.\n2. Next to the peak price adjustment, click the trash icon.\n3. Click **Save other fees**."}
