Set the first one up, then clone it — and\npoint the clone at the application you already have. Vendors you approved\ncarry straight over, and only new vendors apply.\n\nThe step that makes this work is picking the right application on the clone.\nGet it wrong and everybody reapplies.\n\n## Set up the first event\n\n1. Open **Event Configuration**, then **Events**, and click **Add Event**.\n2. Name it, then choose your application template and layout.\n3. Set the dates the application is open.\n4. Describe the event, and write the message vendors see after they apply.\n5. Set your booth fee.\n6. Click **Save & add days**.\n7. Under **Days**, click the calendar, pick the day, set the start and end\n   times, and click **Save**.\n8. Click **Activate**, choose how it is paid for, and confirm.\n\n## Clone it\n\n1. In **Events**, click **Overview** on the event you just made.\n2. Open the **Actions** tab and click **Clone**.\n\nThe clone wizard opens with four steps: **Info**, **Dates**, **Options** and\n**Preview**.\n\n![The clone wizard open to Info, the first of its four steps: Info, Dates, Options and Preview](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/events-sharing-applications/01-clone-wizard-info.png)\n\n3. On **Info**, name the new event.\n4. On **Dates**, choose what happens to the event days. **Shift** moves the\n   old days to the new dates, **Start new** lets you pick fresh ones, and\n   **None** copies no days at all.\n\n   ![The Dates step, set to Shift the existing event days onto the new dates](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/events-sharing-applications/02-clone-wizard-dates.png)\n\n5. On **Options**, find **Application Settings** and choose\n   **Use same application**.\n\n   ![Application Settings on the Options step, set to Use same application](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/events-sharing-applications/03-clone-wizard-options.png)\n\n6. Type `CONFIRM` in the box that appears.\n7. Check **Preview**, then finish the clone.\n\n!!! important \"Use same application is the whole point\"\n    The other choice, **Select different application**, builds a new\n    application — and every vendor you already approved has to apply again from\n    scratch. That is why **Use same application** asks you to type `CONFIRM`\n    before it will continue: it is the choice that carries your vendors across.\n\n## Change which application an event uses\n\nYou can also point an existing event at a different application afterwards.\n\n1. Open the event and click the pencil beside **Basic**.\n2. Choose from the **Application** list.\n\n![The Application list open, with Standard Vendor Application shown once under Templates and once under Existing Application](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/events-sharing-applications/04-application-dropdown.png)\n\n!!! important \"Pick it from Existing Application, not Templates\"\n    The same application appears twice: once under **Templates** and once under\n    **Existing Application**. Choose the one under **Existing Application**.\n    The template makes a fresh application, and everyone reapplies.\n\n3. Click **Save**.\n\nActivating an event that shares an application warns you that it does. That is\nwhat you want: every vendor approved on the other event is approved here too,\nwithout lifting a finger.\n\nRepeat the clone for as many events as you need. Click **View Profile** on your\ndashboard to see them as the public does."}
