Those details are reused for every future\napplication.\n\nOne account covers every market and event you ever apply to. You never need a\nsecond one.\n\n## Find the application\n\nThere are three ways in:\n\n- The **Apply here** button on the market's profile.\n\n  ![The market's profile, with the Apply here button](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/01-market-apply-here.png)\n\n- An application built into the market's own website.\n- A private email invitation, for an application not open to everyone.\n\nYou have to be signed in to apply. If you are not, you will be asked to sign in\nor create an account first.\n\n## Set up your vendor details\n\nThe first time only, you are asked who you are:\n\n- Your **vendor name**\n- A **logo**, if you have one\n- A short description of your business\n- Your **location address**\n- A **mailing address** — this is how the market reaches you, and it is not\n  shown to customers\n- Phone numbers, if you want to give them\n\n![The Basic Information card, with the vendor name and description](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/02-vendor-basic-information.png)\n\n![The Contact Information card, with the location address, mailing address and a phone number](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/03-vendor-contact-information.png)\n\nSome markets also ask for a vendor type and a main product category. If a\nmarket does not use those, you will not be asked.\n\n![Select a Type and Select a Category — some markets also ask for these](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/04-vendor-type-and-category.png)\n\nThat is the one-off part. Sign in with the same account next time and you go\nstraight to the application.\n\n## Fill in the application\n\nEvery market asks for something different, but most of it comes from this list:\n\n- **A message at the top.** Read it. It is where the market sets out its rules\n  and what it expects.\n- **Documents to read.** Some you tick to agree to; some you sign.\n\n  ![The Documents card, with the document to review and agree to](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/05-application-documents.png)\n\n- **Documents to provide.** Insurance, certificates. You upload these, and can\n  set an expiry date where it matters.\n\n  ![The Uploads card, with the certificate's file name and Expires on filled in](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/06-application-uploads.png)\n\n- **Questions**, which vary a lot between markets.\n\n  ![The Questions card, answered](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/07-application-questions.png)\n\n- **Days to attend**, if the market runs more than one and lets you choose.\n  Some are all or nothing.\n\n  ![Days to attend, with every Saturday market day selected](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/08-application-days-to-attend.png)\n\n- **Rentals**, such as a table or a tent, if the market offers them.\n- **Products**, if the market checks what you sell before accepting you. Add as\n  many as you like and say which you would sell there.\n- **Fees**, if the market charges to apply or on approval.\n- **A message box**, for anything the questions did not cover.\n\n## Submit it\n\nIf there is an application fee, fill in your card under **Payment** first.\nThen click the button at the bottom. It reads **Apply**, or **Pay\napplication fees and apply** when there is a fee to pay now.\n\n![The bottom of the application, with the Apply button](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/09-application-submit.png)\n\nYou land on a thank-you page, with a **Review in Dashboard** link back to your\nvendor dashboard.\n\n![The thank-you page, with a link to review the application from the vendor dashboard](https://articles.marketspread.com/images/applying-as-a-new-vendor/10-application-thank-you.png)\n\n!!! tip \"Your products stay with you\"\n    Anything you added in the products section is saved to your account. Find\n    it later under **Products** in your dashboard, and reuse it."}
